Men Hustle Too – Grammy Nominated R&B Singer Raheem DeVaughn Interview for Lowcountry Juneteenth Week

During an interview with Raheem DeVaughn for the Inaugural Lowcountry Juneteenth Week we asked him about the key to his longevity and success. He shared with us that in his love and admiration for Soul and R&B Music for the culture and his unique connection with his supporters the Music Lovers (Fans).

Lowcountry Juneteenth Week is a weeklong celebration of the achievements and history of the African-American culture with virtual and in-person events June 14-20 including live performances, exhibits, seminars, and a live family festival on June 19 headlined by Grammy Nominated Artists Raheem DeVaughn and Tony! Toni! Tone! at Jenkins Institute in North Charleston, S.C.

Lowcountry Juneteenth Week celebrates the achievements and history of the African-American culture to empower, educate and entertain in an effort to commemorate Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated remembrance of the ending of slavery. “We’re so excited about this week’s blend of virtual and in-person programming,” says event co-founder Cedric Smalls. “We’re even more thrilled that such a historical establishment like Jenkins Institute is now serving as our host venue for the main festival Saturday, June 19,” adds event co-founder Latisha Manigault.
