If you could use any four words to describe your writing style what would they be and why?
Anointed. Elevating. Memorable. Educational.

Take us through the experience of the moment you realize you held a gift for uplifting readers through your words.

I started writing when I was in high school and had no idea what I was doing. It was not until my brother died and I poured my pain into my debut novel, Deception Has A Name, which got me signed to a small publisher. It was my first number one on Amazon’s African American Christian fiction. After reading the five-star reviews, I knew I had a gift, and it was a humbling moment.

You are the Author of numerous books, what message holds true through them all?

The message in all my books is that no matter the circumstances, God is still there, life still moves forward, and your worse day is only the foundation to build better days.

What is next for you?

I’m working on three works in progress, two standalone novels, and book two in a series.

How has being able to share stories impacted your life?
Writing is my ministry. It is how I share my faith. The feedback I get from readers who tell me that something I wrote had a positive impact on their life is rewarding. Their understanding of my writing art is a blessing in my life.

What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?

When I think of PWWH, I think of a strong-minded, independent, hardworking woman who does not allow society to define her. A PWWH is a woman who defies the limitations others attempt to place on her and rises to the occasion and defeats any challenges she faces. A PWWH is a boss!
