FABULOUS FEBRUARY

In honor of Black History Month, this tip is regarding the color Black

STAYING IN THE BLACK

Black is always in style!

In the clothes you may wear, the cars we drive, in various decorations and in your bank account!

Did you know “being in the black” means that you are financially sound? Yes, “being in the black” means that you have money saved. It means that you are in a good place with your money!

I’m sure you have heard of the term, “black Friday sales.”

Retailers(stores) want you to buy up their goods so they do not end the year with to much inventory or merchandise (merch). The reason why it’s called ‘black Friday sales’ is because they need to sell items and make money so their bank accounts will be ‘in the black and not the red’.

In the Black, is an excellent read! I read this book about 15 years ago and it changed my entire outlook on money and saving money.

In the Black: Live Faithfully, Prosper Financially: The Ultimate 9-Step Plan for Financial Fitnessby Aaron W Smith  (Author), Brenda Lane Richardson (Author).

Remember Black is Beautiful! Keep your mind on your money.
