We had the pleasure of sitting down and speaking with Dr. Linda to discuss her overall mission, her most memorable moments and business along with upcoming projects:

Can you tell us more about your journey and the various roles you’ve taken on, from being a mother and grandmother to your work as a pastor, author, entrepreneur, and life coach?
Journey and Roles: As a mother and grandmother, I’ve experienced the joys and challenges of raising a family, which has been a profound source of love and personal growth. As a community leader I have assisted many of the local churches by creating innovative youth programs and services. As a pastor, I’ve had the privilege of guiding and supporting my congregation in their spiritual journeys, providing comfort and hope during difficult times. As a conference speaker present thought provoking messages that encourage growth in diverse ministries. My work as an author has allowed me to share my personal experiences along with insights, hopefully inspiring and helping others along the way. As an entrepreneur, I’ve ventured into business, learning valuable lessons about leadership and innovation. Finally, as a life coach I’ve had the opportunity to empower individuals to discover their potential and live their best lives.

You’ve mentioned being an advocate for the abused and rejected. Could you share some of the ways you’ve been able to make a difference in the lives of those who have faced such challenges?
Advocacy for the Abused and Rejected: I was a victim of childhood trauma and have made it my life mission to help others. I Advocate by actively listening to survivors stories, providing emotional support, and connecting them with resources such as counseling, shelters, or legal assistance. It’s about creating a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can heal and regain their self-esteem. Through workshops and awareness campaigns, we aim to break the silence surrounding abuse and rejection and encourage survivors to seek help and support.

What motivated you to establish W.I.W.A (Women Inspiring Women Always), and how does it empower women in your community and beyond?
Establishing W.I.W.A: W.I.W.A (Women Inspiring Women Always) was born out of a deep desire to empower women in my community and beyond. The organization offers mentorship programs, workshops, and networking opportunities for women to connect, learn, and grow. By fostering a supportive community, we aim to help women discover their inner strength, build confidence, and pursue their goals fearlessly.

Congratulations on being crowned the Mrs. South Florida Plus America Pageant 2023 Queen. Can you share your experience and what this title means to you?
My position as the local Mrs. South Florida Plus America representative for 2023, is a significant milestone in my life. It represents the importance of self-confidence and self-acceptance. This position has shown me that embracing our uniqueness and celebrating our achievements can inspire others to do the same. It’s a platform that allows me to promote positive body image and self-esteem.

In truth I did this to show the every day woman, that they can achieve their goals and dreams. Once you’ve released the hurt, you truly begin to experience things you would never have imagined. I am not my past, and I have proven that you can be happy again, you can be free from your past and live a healthy lifestyle. Your past doesn’t define their future.

Your mission is to promote healthy and spiritual living. Could you elaborate on the key principles or practices you recommend for individuals and families to achieve this?

Promoting Healthy and Spiritual Living: Key principles for healthy and spiritual living include gratitude for life’s blessings, mindfulness to stay present in the moment, faith in God, and self-care to nurture the body and mind. These principles, when practiced regularly, lead to a balanced and fulfilling life. Within families, open communication, empathy, and shared spiritual practices can strengthen bonds and promote well-being.
Could you share some memorable moments or stories from your journey that have had a significant impact on your mission and purpose in life?

Memorable Moments: One particularly memorable moment was witnessing a survivor of abuse transform from a place of fear and despair to one of strength and hope. Another moment was seeing a young woman carry the shame of being molested for over 20 years, and how through prayers and mentorship she was able to share this with her family. Seeing the impact of my work on individuals lives reaffirms my mission and purpose, motivating me to continue making a difference.

What advice would you offer to individuals who aspire to make a positive impact in their communities and follow their own path of faith and purpose?

Advice for Positive Impact: My advice to those aspiring to make a positive impact is to stay true to your values and purpose. Persistence is key; don’t be discouraged by setbacks. Setbacks is just the stretching that is necessary to catapult you into your next level. Seek mentors and surround yourself with a supportive community. Never underestimate the power of faith, both in yourself and in God.

What are some upcoming projects or initiatives that you’re excited about, and how can our audience get involved or support your work?
Upcoming Projects and Support: We have exciting community workshops and outreach programs on the horizon. Businesses and organizations can get involved by sponsoring some of our projects, Individuals can assist by volunteering their time, skills, or resources. Donations are always appreciated and help us expand our reach and impact.

What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?
“Pretty Woman Who Hustles”: To me, a “Pretty Woman Who Hustles” embodies both inner and outer beauty. It’s someone who combines grace, kindness, and resilience with a strong work ethic and determination. This individual not only pursues their goals but does so with a sense of purpose and a commitment to making a positive impact on their community and the world.
