Share with the readers about the books you have authored and what can they as readers gain from reading them.

Yes. God Spoke and I Listened. The Bible says He spoke by clouds in the day and fire at night. Some say He has a small quiet voice while others say He has a loud bass voice. He spoke in the wind and through a donkey. God is still speaking us today. We must listen to His voice. God Spoke and I Listened is a testimony to how God spoke to me in various trials such as feeling at the bottom of the world, dealing with neighbors whom tried to set me up, and other relationships that I have encountered. God Spoke and I Listened. Are you listening? I want readers to know that for every problem you encounter, the Bible has a solution.

What does success look like to you?

Success is doing what I love professionally and living comfortably on a personal level.

What kind of impact do you want to have on the world?

To let everyone know that he/she can overcome.

What is the name of your business? What type of business is it?

Pen.Paper.Publish. Self-publishing

What made you choose this type of business?

I enjoy writing and people always want me to proofread their papers.

What hurdles did you personally face in getting ready to open your business and how did you overcome them?

The hurdle I faced was doing it myself. I had to do research on Google and wing my way through things. Currently I am re-launching so that I can make sure my business runs smoothly.

Does your company help the community where it is located?

Yes. We give authors a platform.

Why did you choose entrepreneurship?

I want to be the boss.

What would you say is your most driving motivation to keep doing what you to do?

God gave me this gift and I have to use it.

Have you ever turned down a client?

No, I have not.

What are the goals you most want to accomplish in your business? What are the goals that you hold personally?

I want to help authors birth and deliver their book. Personally, I want to generate revenue around my books.

Did you have any key mentors or people who deeply influenced who you are, what you believe in and what you’re committed to in your work and life? Tell me about them.

My mother. She always told me to be better than her. She is my number one supporter. God-I grew up learning about God. My paternal side are all clergy people. My maternal side kept me in church. As an adult, I tried to stop going to church but the Bible says Train up a child… So there was no escape for me.

If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Always pray and ask questions.

What’s next for you in your business/brand? What can readers look forward to from you?

I am relaunching. I am also working on my 3rd and 4th book. I am preparing to do a virtual conference. I am working on doing courses.

Is there anything else you would like to share with me?

Don’t get ahead of God even if others are passing you by. Wait your turn.

Do you have quirky writing habits? Routines?

I would not say quirky but God tends to give me my book ideas when I am asleep. He keeps me so much material that I have to pray that I remember everything or I will send a text to myself of all that He told me to write.
