National Lazy Day

Ohhhhh weeeee you all don’t know this is going to be my favorite day ever. Like I can stay in the house in my “granny gown” eat snacks, and watch tv all day; baby this is the life. I’ve already got my lazy day planned out in advance. I won’t be doing any motherly duties, wife duties, lol none of that! I am off! Sis are you with me? Naw? Lol, why not? You get a day off from wearing so many hats, take time for yourself, and just sit back and relax. I am!
What do you like to do on your off days?
Read, watch tv, play games, nothing, Cool! Today is your day.

How to Deal with Annoying Age Spots

Age spots can make any person feel older. But, interestingly enough, despite being called “age spots,” these brown, flat, and circular spots do not arise from one getting older, but due to sun damage. There are many different methods that can be implemented to deal with the development of age spots. Here are a few suggestions that many work well to promote clearer, healthier, and sun-spot free skin:

Apply Sunscreen

Sunscreen not only prevents the development of additional age spots, it also prevents existing age spots from darkening and appearing more prominent. It may be best to opt for a broad-spectrum sun-protecting agent, which means that it will protect against both UVA and UVB sun rays. Additionally, the sun protection factor should be at least 30. For the highest level of effectiveness, apply sunscreen at least 10 to 15 minutes before going outside.

Wear a Hat and Sun-Protecting Lip Balm

Second, for those who are particularly concerned about age spots on their face, it may be best to try wearing a hat and sun-protecting lip balm. Many individuals especially overlook the latter recommendation, thinking that lipstick will provide sufficient protection. In reality, lipstick can cause more harm, and accordingly, it is advisable to wear lipstick or balm with SPF 15 or 30. As for the hat, it will protect one’s face and neck from developing age spots.

All-Natural Lightening Agent

Third, those who lean toward natural remedies for sun-lightening may want to consider using lemons. Lemons contain an agent called citric acid, which is recognized for its ability to remove dead skin cells and to promote a new layer of healthier and better-looking skin. Simply rub a sliced lemon onto the age spot – the juice should sit there for 15 minutes at least and rise thereafter. Keep in mind that this recommendation should be done indoors, as citric acid can darken the skin when under the sun.

Age Spot Remover

Finally, an age spot remover may be a prime option as well. There are many different skincare remedies that one can choose from to clear away the age spots – the best thing to do is to simply opt for the right one.

Overall, age spots can certainly be tricky. But, taking the time to determine the right solution for one’s needs can be a step in the right direction to clear, radiant, and youthful-looking skin.
