What inspired your start in entrepreneurship?

Becoming a mother to my two sons inspired me to start in entrepreneurship. I am passionate about cultivating relationships. I am also a risk-taker. I think that, in order to become an entrepreneur, that is one characteristic to have. If an opportunity was presented to me I felt the need to take it.  This is one way I have gained life experience and knowledge to pass on to others. All of my businesses are based on love, respect, and passion.

It is deeper than another stream of income for me.

When did you discover your passion for radio and specifically mental health?

My passion for radio came from my desire to build relationships and share my experiences with my audience, especially surrounding mental health and relationships. I have watched some of my family members deal with mental illness and I wanted to understand why and what was happening to them. I wanted to have a direct positive impact by helping to  decrease the stigma surrounding mental health.

What message do you hope women take away from your platform?

No matter what adversity you face as a woman, you can overcome it.

I want my platform to be a reminder to prioritize self, including mental health and self-love, and motivation.

My goal on my platform is to uplift women and remind women that it is important for us to uplift each other.

Where do you hope to see your platform in the next 3-5 years?

I hope to see my platform’s growth and inspiration reach women across the United States.

What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?

A Pretty Woman Who Hustles is beautiful inside and out. She prioritizes herself while still being authentic, a go-getter, a risk-taker, and helping others by giving back to the community.
