Jeanine Mack grew up in the greater Daytona Beach area as the youngest of six siblings. She is a 1992 graduate of Mainland High School. At the tender age of 19 years old, she married her first husband and was blessed with 3 sons from that union – Christian, Xavier, and Kingsley – on whom she boasts are the jewels in her crown! That union ended in divorce, and many years later she remarried and eventually found herself again single. It was through the experiences of these two broken marriages, divorces, and several dating relationships that Jeanine began her focus and pursuit of healing, personal empowerment, self-discovery, and knowledge about relationship dynamics.
A few of Jeanine’s academic accomplishments include the completion of her Associate of Arts degree at Daytona State College and later graduating from Warner University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management. While tackling the tall task of single-motherhood and working full time, Jeanine attended the prestigious
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where she majored in Leadership and earned her Masters of Science in Leadership degree. Accomplishing this seemingly daunting feat gave Jeanine the ability to realize her own strength and capabilities for achieving her
dreams.
The coupling of Jeanine’s strong academic background and professional work experiences, allowed Jeanine to hone in on her leadership skills, listening skills, and her ability to be empathetic to the needs of those around her. With these skills inside her professional toolbox and the caring heart of a mother, Jeanine felt the calling to use them to help hurting people overcome their pasts and empower them to catapult
themselves into a bright, happy, and whole future. Although the fulfillment of her calling has not been easy or instantaneous, Jeanine is committed, ready, and able to heal heavy hearts one person at a time.
Since the publishing of this book, Jeanine has remained happy, confident, and peaceful in her personal space and in her singleness. Her healing journey is a work in progress and she hopes to continue to inspire others to begin and commit to their healing journey by sharing her process with them. The Break-Up Boss is here to help lead the way to new beginnings and bright futures!
When did you discover your passion for writing and sharing stories?
I discovered my passion for writing and sharing stories when I was in kindergarten. As the youngest in my family, my older brothers and sisters would read stories to me, mostly Dr. Suess. It was then that I decided to write my own stories and share them with my family and teachers.
Can you remember someone or something who influenced your love for writing?
Two persons who influenced my love for writing were Maya Angelou and Zora Neale Hurston. Both have different writing styles that sparked my interest and influence my writing style. They effectively created images in my mind while reading their work. I hope that my writings will inspire future generations just like theirs did for me.
How did Mack Media Moguls get its start?
Mack Media Moguls, LLC got its start in 2017 when I started to publish my first children’s book. While publishing my book, I knew that eventually, I wanted to help other new authors get published…Mack Media Moguls is that means and so much more!
Tell us about your Book series and The Break Up Boss?
My children’s book series is entitled The Life Lessons series because each book presents a different life lesson that is taught to children ages 3 years to 9 years old. It is important to me that children in this age group learn to read well and see characters that resemble them. Also, I want them to learn a lesson from each story that they can apply in their lives, that will help build self-esteem and good character.
The Break-Up Boss is for adults! I believe before you can love anyone, you must love yourself first. In my book, I’m going to walk you through that process and show you how to end those negative relationship cycles that keep you down. I went through many negative relationships and I learned a lot on my healing journey – my book is a means to help me share my healing strategies with my readers.
What message do you hope readers take away from your work?
The message I want readers to take away from my work is self love. Love yourself well, be kind and patient with yourself, grow into the person you want to be. And to know that you are enough and you deserve unconditional love.
One key component of your platform is your public and motivational speaking, what topics do you cover?
On my podcast show, the topic I covered most is relationships…all the caveats of relationships. When I’m doing speaking engagements, I speak about discovering your purpose, motivation, self-growth, and becoming your best self.
Where do you hope to see your platform in the next 3-5 years?
In the next 3-5 years, I plan to see my platform of public speaking and authoring, to be known on a national level. I’d love to have Oprah and Michelle Obama as a featured guest on my podcast show and my book in Oprah’s book club!
I’d also like to have published several new authors and help them sell their books.
What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?
My definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles is she’s confident in her mission and within herself, she perseveres even when things aren’t going her way, she smiles, is happy, loving and pursues her purpose even when she’s afraid; she is well groomed inside and outside, a leader and a good friend. I strive to be all of these things to everyone in my sphere of influence.
