What inspired your start into entrepreneurship?
I was inspired by the opportunity of freedom entrepreneurship can provide, In 2005 I left my job working for Chase Mellon stock exchange to pursue entrepreneurship full time.

You are what most consider a serial entrepreneur with multiple businesses, how do you balance the demand of each business?
Being the owner of several businesses at once is very challenging, I’ve learned to 1st Pray for them all. Then I prioritize each task needed daily by the importance/ demand it has on the business. I delegate alot of tasks to my staff which frees me up to do the back office work. I’ve learned over the years to hire and pay people that love doing the things you need done. IE: I have a cleaner come clean my home, I have an assistant that handles the majority of what my daycare needs to function daily. My sister helps run my Spa. I would say Building a great team is very important when running businesses.

Tell us about your new brand “Extraordinary Kurves”?
Extraordinary Kurves is my New baby. I love this baby the most. Extraordinary Kurves was designed to uplift, encourage, build confidence giving women the opportunity to feel like themselves again. So often women are so busy being Moms. Wives, Sisters and Bff’s that we tend to forget about ourselves. Self love and self care are very important.

What do you hope women take away from your brand?
My Prayer is that when women leave my shop they feel a sense of self. I Pray that they feel beautiful from the inside out, I Pray that our safe space conversations give them a woosah moment.

Can you share the creative process behind your bestselling product?
My beauty products are all designed to enhance the beauty that we already have. From my lemon body scrubs that help exfoliate the skin leaving it new and bright. My slimming gel that helps slim and tone the belly.

What can your customers expect from the Extraordinary Kurves Brand next?
What’s to come, be on the lookout for our second location, franchise opportunities, and product growth.

What advice do you have for upcoming entrepreneurs looking to get into the beauty industry?
I would advise all up and coming entrepreneurs to get a Business coach. Hook up with someone that has already made millions doing what you want. Be intentional about your business, study the ins and outs of the industry, dedicate 5 hours a day to your growing your new business and stay the course even when thing are looking like you should give up keep going.

What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?
Pretty girls that hustle : Women wearing multiple hats, yet getting to it. Women that are not letting anything get in the way of their dreams/goals. Women that are out here making it happen.
