Enhance By Nature
Why is your business a business to watch in 2021?
Enhance By Nature incorporates many superfoods, including matcha green tea, red wine and cactus juice. While food is a vital part of our lives, these in particular have proven health benefits when used topically. The high vitamin and mineral content found in superfoods help the body ward off diseases and keep you healthier.
What inspired your to start your business?
Since being diagnosed with Breast Cancer years ago, I became an advocate for product awareness. As a two-time survivor, I champion head-to-toe wellness with every item found in Enhance By Nature.
How did 2020 change your business? Was it for the better?
2020 has brought about growth and has brought about adapting to the times and doing things differently to achieve better results… Which for me is to get exposure to bring awareness about the importance of using natural and plant-based products.
Was it for the better?
At first, I didn’t view this for the better, but as time goes on, it has been for the better and continues to show me that long term adapting to e-commerce and online marketing will benefit my company, my health, and my energy. Before 2020 my exposure came from me hitting the pavement by doing multiple vending events at minimum twice a week. So energy wise I was burning both sides of the candle.
What lessons did you learn in your business in 2020?
I have learned how important it is to adapt and be able to convert and make the changes necessary; and make them very quickly to keep your business growing both on a financial level and as well its exposure.

What kind of impact do you want your business to leave on your client or customer?
The impact I want my business to leave on my clients is that we all should be more aware of what we put in our hair and on our skin, to start removing as many chemicals from our bodies. Head-to-toe product awareness is very important!
Do you feel your product or service meets the needs of the market?
With an increase in mindfulness when it comes to staying healthy and boosting one’s immunity since the rise of the pandemic, more consumers are choosing organic products.
What hurdles did you personally face in getting ready to open your business and how did you overcome them?
Paperwork was my personal hurdle, when first opening my business. I have learned to schedule a day once a week for paperwork. Another tip was to hire a business tax professional.

What would you say is your most driving motivation to keep doing what you do?
My driving motivation is creativity come to life. Being about to visualize something and seeing it manifest. Also, the clients’ feedback sharing details about how their skin and hair feel healthier, vibrant, and less itchy.
Did you have any key mentors or people who deeply influenced who you are, what you believe in and what you’re committed to in your work and life? Tell me about them.
I do not have any key mentors who I have worked with, however my friends, family, and Carol’s Daughter founder, Lisa Price, have influenced my entrepreneurship.
Did you have any life-changing experiences that put you on the path that led you to be doing what you’re doing today? Tell me about them.
The life-changing experience that put me on the path is that I am a 2-time breast cancer survivor, which put my life in full gear to start removing as many toxic chemicals from my system.
