

Brittany Pickens “The Juice Girl” is the definition of “when life gives you lemons you make lemonade”. Or in this case “you get juicing!”. Originally from upstate New York, relocating to Atlanta to continue her entrepreneurial journey Brittany became a Serial Entrepreneur. Brittany created the perfect seasoning called “RUB”. Brittany has a background in food blogging, which prompted her to create Eating Anonymous; where she reviews food for restaurants advertising the best places to get a bite to eat.
In August 2020, Brittany used the Global Pandemic to her advantage and launched The Juice Girl. When creating The Juice Girl she thought “what is essential right now?” the answer was your health!
The Juice Girl offers a variety of Organic Natural Juices, using Sea Moss in each juice for extra Nutrients and Vitamins. Often asked “How do you eat all this and stay so fit?” Brittany replies, “I work out and I get Juicing”. The Juice Girl provides you with energy and helps fight sickness, offering customizations to make sure your juice best fits you and your targeted goals.

Why is your business a business to watch in 2021?
The new era of juicing with a twist. I stand apart because I’m bringing new and fresh handmade recipes to the juice market. What inspired your to start your business?During the pandemic , I had to think about what’s essential. I realized that all the restaurants were closed and the juice bars were the only thing open. COVID is a very serious and its very important to boost your immune system at this current time. After that I decided to start my own juice company.
How did 2020 change your business? Was it for the better?
It was a start of my new business venture. I found something I truly enjoy doing .
What lessons did you learn in your business in 2020?
You can’t do everything. You need help in certain situations.
What kind of impact do you want your business to leave on your client or customer?
Customer service and satisfying my customers needs are top priority for me . The Juice Girl is big on customizing juice to a specific customers liking . We have a menu of options but each is customizable to fit the individual.
Do you feel your product or service meets the needs of the market?
Health is wealth. Your body is your temple.
What hurdles did you personally face in getting ready to open your business and how did you overcome them?
The most challenging thing was coming up with recipes and seeing which fruits match the best. The taste has to be good as well.
When did you realize entrepreneurship was right for you?
I always loved to be a hustler and have several incomes. Just need to find something that I love to do.

I’m more passionate about life. Live your life and be happy. Life is hard but very rewarding

What are the goals you most want to accomplish in your business? What are the goals that you hold personally?
I want a vending machine or a location in 2021. I want to just take it to the next level. Several streams of income is very important.
Did you have any key mentors or people who deeply influenced who you are, what you believe in and what you’re committed to in your work and life? Tell me about them.
My mother just passed away in February. She was a hard worker. She was my inspiration for me to do something that I love.
Did you have any life-changing experiences that put you on the path that led you to be doing what you’re doing today? Tell me about them.
After my mom passed it gave me a push to want more for myself. That’s why I moved to Atlanta . To start a new life.

I plan for 2020 to have a vending machine or location in Buckhead.
