Women’s History Month Feature – Chauntele Holley

For Women’s History Month I will be sharing the stories that define and provide examples of women empowerment, uplifting stories of personal triumph and businesses that are inspiring and are making a difference for women. Women’s History Month is a declared month each year that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.

I want to introduce you to Chauntele, Certified Authentic Leadership Coach.

Chauntele Holley is affectionately known as the Growth Coach. Her brand is a holistic movement for purpose-driven women who may be experiencing a set-back due to various circumstances or who may be seeking clarity and the confidence to live an unapologetic lifestyle without fear or shame. Chauntele is a Certified Authentic Leadership Coach that nurtures her tribe through several coaching platforms; accountability workshops, her signature annual women’s retreat, A Woman’s Worth, and individual coaching. Chauntele’s mission is to motivate and inspire women to believe they can achieve more in their lives. She teaches women how to move from existing to conquering their fears and walking boldly in their purpose! Her coaching programs go beyond the basics and dig deep into her client’s challenges and obstacles to assure they achieve results. She’s the author of Hiding Behind Lipstick and of an eBook entitled A Journey Within: 6 Keys to a Renewed Life. Ms. Holley was born and raised in Hempstead, NY and currently resides in the Raleigh, NC area.

Here is HERstory:

I was raised in subsidized housing by a teenaged mom and who herself, had been raised in the same apartments, on the same block. I later became a single mom, pregnant at 19 years old. With no college degree and no savings I picked up and moved to North Carolina to later work myself up to a six figure salary in corporate America; where a college degree was the standard, buy my first home that I built from the ground up and later become a Parrel-preneur when I opened my coaching and consulting business.

What does women empowerment mean to you?

Everything. I believe women are the decision makers of the home. They decide what the family will eat, where they will shop, what movies they watch, where and how they worship, etc.. My daily assignment is to reach women in a way that they feel seen, heard and valued. I aspire to empower them into the next, best version of who God created them to be through content, my women’s empowerment conferences and live broadcasting.

What advice or words of inspiration would you like to share with someone?

Everyone has a past. Free yourself of the idea that you have to be perfect because you’re scrolling through social media comparing yourself to others. You are powerful, capable and worthy of having what God wants for you. Surrender and live.

What do you want your legacy to be?

I’d like my legacy to be that I lived Women’s Empowerment out loud. Women will say “Chauntele was the barrier breaker that helped me transition past the point of my self limiting beliefs!”

What inspires you?

My daughter Jazmine inspires me daily. How she “see’s” me matters.

What kind of impact do you want to have on those around you?

One where they can be free to be themselves without feeling any shame or guilt.

What does self care mean to you?

Self care means taking the time to pay attention to what’s going on with my body (mentally and physically), getting the proper rest and taking time to stay groomed.

What would you say is your most driving motivation to keep doing what you to do?

My mom is the driving motivation! She’s one of my biggest cheerleaders.
