What inspired the start of your brand?
I have two different brands: TyChi Productions and The Muse Experience. They both share the same heart and roots of empowerment. I was inspired for both by all of the amazing people I’ve met who do extraordinary things but don’t recognize how incredible they truly are. It has been my mission to help them change their lives and the lives of others.
What has been the biggest challenge of running a brand like yours?
The biggest challenge of running empowerment brands is staying encouraged myself. I’m the one everyone comes to fill their glass and encourage them. I’ve had to learn how to remind and encourage myself, even when I feel like my tank is deficient, and keep going
How does your brand impact the community?
TyChi Productions focuses on launching and spotlighting new small business owners and ‘goal diggers’ (people with big dreams) brands every day. Ninety-eight percent of the goal diggers I work with have brands that focus on healing and teaching the community. The Muse Experience helps women find their highest vibration through the power of sensuality and movement, which raises their self-esteem and facilitates women being their best selves for everyone around them.
Where do you hope to see your brand in the next 3-5 years?
In the next 3-5 years, I plan to be the name synonymous with being the master goal digger who has helped thousands of goal diggers reach their goals, making all of their dreams a reality.
What advice do you have for the next generation of entrepreneurs?
Don’t be afraid of a pivot shift. A calculated shift can take your business from good to great! Every big business you patronize, often (Amazon, Apple, Lowe’s, etc.), all had huge pivot shifts that helped their business thrive and stay relevant.
What does being “Pretty and Black Owned” mean to you?
Pretty and Black-owned to me means owning every aspect of my ‘Black girl magic’ unapologetically. It means never dimming my light or shrinking myself and owning the space I’m in.
