Hair Restoration with Heart: Yalmikia’s Unique Approach

As the founder of Levonye Professionals and a certified Hair Loss Practitioner, Yalmikia has been transforming lives and inspiring women and young girls to embrace their power and be the best versions of themselves. I believe she can both educate and engage your audience.

Yalmikia’s unique approach to hair restoration goes beyond physical transformation. She is a motivational and inspirational speaker, educator, and advocate for empowering individuals through their hair journey. Her passion for helping others shines through in every interaction, whether it’s with her hair clients or the women she crosses paths with.

What sets Yalmikia apart is her ability to connect with people on a deeper level. She understands that hair loss can have a profound impact on one’s self-esteem and overall well-being. Through her expertise and compassionate approach, Yalmikia not only restores hair but also instills confidence, hope, and a renewed sense of self.

We had the opportunity of sitting down with Yalmikia to discuss hair loss, hair restoration and tips for healthy hair:

Can you share with us the emotional challenges individuals face when dealing with hair loss, and how your unique approach addresses these concerns?

Feeling unattractive, experiencing social anxiety, and battling limiting thoughts due to alopecia, I’ve developed a unique approach to help others cope. Through digital products like an e-book on managing alopecia, and hosting an annual women’s conference, we empower women to overcome their challenges and reach their full potential, even while dealing with alopecia.

In your experience, how does hair restoration go beyond physical transformation to impact one’s self-esteem and overall well-being?

Hair loss can significantly affect psychological well-being, leading to emotional distress, anxiety, and sometimes depression. Restoring a client’s hair can alleviate negative thoughts and emotions, contributing to improved psychological well-being.

As a motivational and inspirational speaker, how do you empower women and young girls through their hair journeys?

Storytelling is something that I realized helps females understand that they are not alone, no matter what circumstances or situations they may be experiencing. So, I thought to myself that I can share this same concept and apply it to hair restoration and hair loss. By sharing their own experiences with hair challenges such as hair loss or self-esteem issues, this can demonstrate that they are not alone in struggling with alopecia. This provides hope for them to overcome this specific obstacle.

What are some of the most exciting advancements in hair restoration techniques and treatments that you’ve witnessed in recent times?

There are many innovative and creative techniques now taking place in this industry. Hair loss and alopecia were once things that people, specifically women, lived in hiding. But now, many women are bringing their stories out of hiding. I have to say that advancements in hair restoration are one reason why women are now speaking up. We have hair loss systems, scalp micropigmentation, and low-level laser therapy. Because of these new innovative ways to provide hair restoration, many women are feeling more confident to speak about their personal experiences.

What are some practical tips you can offer to our audience for maintaining healthy hair and preventing hair loss?

I would say stick with one professional hair care provider. This is essential. Allowing multiple hair stylists to style or treat your hair can contribute to hair thinning and hair loss because everyone’s products and tools are different. So, stick with one professional.

Another practical tip is to make sure you maintain your own hair. If you cannot make it to a professional to care for your hair, then you need to have a regimen in place to maintain your hair from home.

Most importantly, a healthy diet is crucial. I’ve witnessed many of my clients begin to lose their hair based on what they were putting in their bodies. So, making sure you have an alkaline-based diet is important to prevent hair loss as well.

Are there common misconceptions about hair care that you often encounter, and how do you address them?
One misconception is that shampooing your hair every day is necessary. Doing so can remove the natural oils that our hair needs, which can lead to dry, brittle, damaged hair. I address this by providing information to my clients that will keep them informed about these false narratives about hair. Another approach is simply promoting healthier hair.

What is next for you, where do you hope to see your brand in the next three to five years?
What’s next for me is product placement and opening another location in another state, like Atlanta or Texas.

What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?

My definition of a pretty woman who hustle is a woman who is in alignment with her life purpose and does not get distracted from that. She also completes what she sets out to do with Grace.

Constance Jones is a highly accomplished and respected HR professional, known for her expertise in staffing and recruiting. As the President and CEO of Harris-Jones Staffing & Recruiting, LLC, Constance has developed strong business relationships across the nation, providing consulting and staffing solutions to various industries. Her commitment to growth and development for all, as well as her dedication to giving back to the community, has made her a leader in her field.

As the President and CEO of Harris-Jones Staffing & Recruiting, LLC, Constance has been instrumental in providing staffing and consulting solutions to various industries. Her expertise in recruitment, training, and team management has helped her clients find the right talent to meet their needs. Constance’s commitment to excellence has earned her the trust and loyalty of her clients, and she is highly respected in the industry.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with CEO Constance to discuss her background and journey into HR:

Can you share a bit about your background and how you became involved in the field of staffing and recruiting?
Oh, my journey in the fabulous world of staffing and recruiting is nothing short of exciting! Imagine me back then, wide-eyed and eager, diving into the HR realm, working as an HR recruiter for Fortune 500 retailers and a private security company. I witnessed the lack of emphasis on employee retention, and the untapped potential of qualified candidates often set aside due to unconscious biases or inadequate recruitment training.

That sparked a fire within me to create meaningful connections, to uplift overlooked talent, and help guide businesses toward greater success, leaving no stone unturned and advocating for diversity and equal opportunities. So, here I am today, leading HJ Staffing on a mission to bring people and opportunities together, transforming the HR world in a spirited, progressive, and compassionate harmony.

As the President and CEO of Harris-Jones Staffing & Recruiting, LLC, what inspired you to establish the company, and what values drive your approach to staffing solutions?
I established HJ Staffing to bridge the disconnect I saw in talent acquisition – a gap between untapped potential, the overlooked candidate, and businesses in need of that very talent. Our inherent values such as integrity, personalized service, and creating enduring relationships underline our unique approach. We genuinely care about retention and development, ensuring our partnerships, whether with job seekers or businesses, are tailored and enduring.

In your experience, how crucial is staffing and recruiting to the overall growth and success of a business?

Staffing and recruiting aren’t a mere cog in the wheel of business growth – it is at its very heart. The right employees catalyze productivity and spur innovation, fostering an atmosphere of growth. Operational success pivots around effective staffing, cultivating a vibrant company culture, and underlining employee retention and overall performance.

What are some common challenges businesses face in the staffing process, and how can they overcome these challenges?

Some hurdles in the staffing process can indeed be daunting. The time to sift through multitudes of prospects, ensuring not only their qualification but also their cultural symbiosis with your organization, is a luxury many hiring managers simply cannot afford.
Identifying the right talent begins with crafting an appealing employer brand that resonates with the workforce you seek. Embrace diversity and inclusivity not just demographics. Invest in contemporary HR technologies to stay relevant and streamline recruitment. Our solutions encompass these best practices making these challenges pathways to growth and success.

Can you share a specific example of a challenging staffing situation you’ve successfully navigated, highlighting the importance of relationships in the process?
In the world of staffing and recruiting, a spectacular instance springs to mind when you mention navigating challenges. This was the gold-standard experience of what it means to pull together, proving that relationships, in their truest essence, fuel our collective success.
We inked a major work order that demanded staffing 50 individuals within a tight window of 72 hours – somewhat akin to playing a high-stakes chess game against time, with the welfare of our clients and candidates on the line.

Now crucial to our mission was our sisterhood with other powerhouses, female-led staffing agencies that we’ve nurtured over time. With the clock ticking relentlessly, I reached out to our partner agencies, asking for their support.

Did we meet the request? Yes indeed! Not just with associates simply fulfilling that work order, but reporting ready for work. The triumph of that moment crystallizes one essential truth – it was our invaluable relationship with these agencies, their shared vision and commitment, that transformed an uphill assignment into a realized goal.

The experience reinforced the significance of cultivating robust, sincere relationships in our domain. As we celebrate each victory and learn from each challenge, we build bridges, not walls, paving the way for symbiotic success and setting new benchmarks in the staffing world. Together, we rise!

Can you share an instance where you had to pivot or adjust your approach due to industry shifts?
Adapting, the cornerstone of success, is something we’re no strangers to. During the rise of remote work, many clients refining their hiring processes, particularly for roles traditionally on-site. Instead of resisting this shift, we embraced new digital interviewing platforms and remote onboarding processes, while educating our clients about the possibilities of remote work and hybrid schedules. This ability to pivot ensured our clients continued to attract top-tier talent even amidst sweeping changes.

What advice do you have for aspiring leaders in the HR and staffing domain who aim to make a significant impact in their careers?
To the aspirants wishing to make a sizable impact, remember the HR and staffing industry, at its core, is about people. Continual learning, networking, and staying updated on industry trends help, but genuine empathy, effective communication, and strategic thinking have an unparalleled impact. These qualities, coupled with determination, will catapult your growth and influence in the dynamic world of HR.

How can businesses proactively position themselves to thrive in the evolving landscape of talent acquisition?

In the evolving landscape of talent acquisition, businesses must stay at the forefront. They must embrace modern recruitment platforms, foster workplaces flexible to change and cultivate a robust employer brand resonating with potential candidates’ desires. The employee needing the employer environment is dwindling. Organizations should not merely react to these evolving dynamics, but be the catalysts driving the change, turning challenges into opportunities for growth.

Let’s continue uplifting each other, fostering progressive workplaces, and shaping futures, together.

24 Crowns: Turning Setbacks into Leadership Triumphs

Through Ms. Thomas’ consulting firm, D.I.V.A. Transformations, which she founded nearly two decades ago, the women connected using Thomas’ yearlong roadmap, an active journal entitled 24 Crowns. This work led them on a path to achieving their goals. Coming from such diverse fields as construction, fitness, education, interior design and beauty, the group evolved their dreams into reality, brought to vivid life in 24 Crowns: The Time Is Now.

The documentary is a riveting behind-the-scenes foray into the lives of these remarkable women, how they began working with Ms. Thomas, and the many “gems” of wisdom they learned along the way. The roll call of leadership is a litany of success; appearing in the documentary are Ruth Graham, Chondra Myers, Kofi Kinney, Shauna Marie, Lamonica Green, Lakisha Knight, Lakeisha Dixon Jones, Lina Campbell, Shaylah Robinson, Yvonne Eagle, Leslie Ferguson, LaTosha Key McDade, Alexander Jeudy, and Sherry Thomas. Other women among the group appearing in the 24 Crowns book on which the film is based, are Iesha Mitchell, Nicole Wilson, Sonja Penson, Diadra Malone, Ivy Scott, Krista Hicks, Lynn Belvitt, Bretina Shannon, Keyshia Johnson, and Nikki Harris.

Directed by Roxe Karvell, and brought to you by Executive Producers Tommy Glover and Sherry Thomas, this New Magic Productions documentary is available for viewing now, on such major platforms as Apple TV, Tubi, and Prime and other streaming platforms.

We had the pleasure of speaking with CEO Sherry Thomas to discuss her project and the passion behind 24 Crowns:

Can you tell us more about your diverse professional background as a life coach, film producer, author, corporate sales trainer, and public speaker?

I have enjoyed a successful 20-plus-year career in sales. In 2017, I ventured into coaching entrepreneurs and executives. However, it was during my 11 years as a former ministry leader where I truly began to see my purpose unfold. I obtained certification as a Certified Master Trainer, specializing in sales training and Creating Leadership. Additionally, I began my career emceeing and public speaking, a journey that began with my first Easter speech.

What inspired you to establish D.I.V.A. Transformations nearly two decades ago?

I’ve always wanted to help people be their best selves. I began with one of the 24 crowns, Kofi Kinney. We organized a workshop called “God’s Real Top Model” for young girls, inspired by the big show Top Model. We created a curriculum and activity to make a positive impact on their young minds. This is how Diva started. When I arrived at the church in 2001, people started calling me DIVA, which stands for “Developing Irresistible Virtuous Attributes.” We began assisting women in public housing to return to work and initiated mentoring programs for the Boys and Girls Club. Diva grew through outreach in the community.

How did your documentary “24 Crowns: The Time Is Now” come about, and what motivated you to work closely with Black business owners and community leaders in Atlanta?

Great question! I knew these amazing people from my time in corporate America and as a member of a large church in Atlanta. I met individuals who were making a positive impact in the community. The important thing for me is that what God has for you is meant for you. So, why keep it to yourself? Share it freely, and you’ll receive even more in return. The documentary came about as a result of the 24 Crowns journal and planner. After the photoshoot for the King’s edition of 24 Crowns, one of the featured kings, who is also an editor and filmmaker, suggested turning it into a documentary. I thought, “Wow, that’s a great idea!” I took some time to reflect, prayed about it, and decided to go ahead. Now, the documentary is available on Tubi, Apple TV, Prime, and Plex. It’s been an amazing journey!

“24 Crowns: The Time Is Now” offers a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of remarkable women. What were some key moments or “gems” of wisdom that stood out during the filming process?

Great question! What really stood out to me about the women of 24 Crowns is their amazingness. I’ve known them for quite some time, and their stories, their willingness to help others through food drives, feeding the homeless, and teaching literacy – it’s just amazing. What struck me the most in the documentary were some things they said. When Kofi talks about our duty to help the next generation, it’s so powerful. Also, when Chondra shared that her “black girl magic” was about treating people with professionalism and grace, not conforming to the stereotype of an angry black woman, that was impactful. She emphasized the importance of confidence in knowing you belong in the room. The women also spoke about purpose, which I found very important. These are the gems that stood out to me in the documentary.

The documentary features a notable group of leaders. Can you highlight a few success stories or transformations that particularly resonate with you?

Great question! What really stands out and resonates with me is Chondra. She’s the largest female-owned construction owner in Georgia, and that’s a big deal. Another inspiring story is Shauna Marie, who managed her son’s career early on. I’ve known Shauna for about 16 years, and we met when her son was still in high school. Despite the sacrifices, she put her head down, used her gifts and talents, and made a significant impact on his career. It’s admirable how she prioritized her son’s success.

In what ways do these women exemplify leadership and empowerment within their respective fields?

Great question! They’ve been on a journey, putting in the work despite life experiences and setbacks. They turn lemons into lemonade and take nothing for granted on their journey.

The documentary is based on the book “24 Crowns.” How did the book serve as a foundation for the film, and what additional insights can viewers gain from exploring both projects?

Great question! The books served as a foundation because it was my way of helping entrepreneurs and executives climb the corporate ladder and grow their businesses. I aimed to provide them with all the tips and tricks, or what I call “Dropping Gems,” to navigate the corporate world successfully. Drawing from my experience managing one of the largest quick-service restaurant portfolios in the country, alongside outstanding women like Lina and Tasha in sales, the journal/planners allow leaders in various industries to share their best practices and lessons learned.

This book holds a special place in my heart as it was my way of listening to God and moving accordingly. In 2017, I began coaching the women of 24 Crowns in my living room. By 2020, I faced difficulty finding a job, even with my sales background. I prayed about it, and one night, God spoke to me, mentioning “crowns.” Turning to Revelation 4:4, I found a reference to 24 crowns. Then, Proverbs 49 spoke of placing a garland on one’s head, adorning them with a crown. I realized the “she” mentioned was me, thinking of the women in our quarterly meetings that sparked this journey.

I wanted to feature these women, shining a light on amazing entrepreneurs and executive women in leadership roles. We formed a supportive community, praying, encouraging, mentoring, coaching, and holding each other accountable. Leaders often face challenges, and I aimed to provide a soft place for them to share burdens without judgment. This space is specifically for women who are executives and entrepreneurs.

If you had to use five words to describe yourself, what would they be?

Mindful, creative, engaging, versatile, captivating.

Can you share with us a bit about your journey in becoming a Celebrity Fashion Stylist and Mindset Coach?

Honestly, my journey to become a stylist truly just came from always loving style and fashion and honestly just a look or presence for lack of a better way to put it. I think that what made things better is that I have a very unique way of being able to relate to people‘s version of how they want to see themselves and make it visible. The celebrity part came because honestly I am a Female MacGyver, I had the amazing opportunity to be able to be around celebrities up-and-coming, and then later on more established ones as my gifts made room for me, but the thing was that I always had a solution for whatever needed to be done whether it was on a video set movie set photoshoot whatever I had a solution and often the solution came with very little supplies but what needed to be done was done as far as a mindset coach honestly that came from life to be very honest, going through my self-discovery journey, and realizing that the mind is powerful and while so is the tongue, the mind controls the tongue, and it is probably one of the strongest, and sometimes most underused muscles’ in our body being a mindset coach for me was sitting or I should say resetting people on the path that they can easily be on by making conscious mindful choices If only they were mindful of themselves first and then others. I truly believe that when you are mindful of yourself, being mindful of others is easy. and honestly, together it has merged a beautiful combination of my God-given gifting, purpose, power, and impact.

What inspired you to blend fashion and mindset coaching?

Through this personal journey, I realized that fashion and mindset coaching are not separate entities but rather two sides of the same coin. They both have the power to empower individuals, boost self-esteem, and ignite a sense of purpose. By merging these realms, I aim to create a space where individuals can not only enhance their personal style but also cultivate a positive mindset that will propel them towards their dreams.

You emphasize the importance of understanding one’s body type. Why is this crucial in building a confident personal style?

First and foremost, knowing your body type allows you to dress in a way that flatters your figure. Each body type has its unique proportions and features, and by understanding these, you can choose clothing styles and silhouettes that highlight your best assets. When you feel good in what you’re wearing, it boosts your confidence and radiates a positive energy that others can’t help but notice.

Moreover, understanding your body type helps you make informed choices when it comes to shopping for clothes. It saves you time, money, and frustration by narrowing down your options and focusing on pieces that are tailored to your specific shape. By investing in clothing that fits you well and enhances your natural beauty, you’ll feel more comfortable and at ease in your own skin.

Beyond the physical aspect, embracing your body type is also a powerful act of self-love and acceptance. It’s about embracing your unique features and celebrating the beauty that comes with diversity. When you fully accept and appreciate your body, you radiate a sense of confidence and authenticity that goes beyond any fashion trend.

Building a confident personal style is not about conforming to a specific ideal, but rather about expressing your true self through fashion. By understanding your body type, you can choose clothing that aligns with your personality, values, and lifestyle. It becomes a form of self-expression, allowing you to showcase your individuality and tell your story to the world

Balancing one’s shape is a key skill you talk about often, what tricks or strategies do you recommend for creating balance in different body shapes, particularly for the Fall and Winter seasons?

Creating balance in different body shapes is indeed a key skill when it comes to building a confident personal style. As we transition into the Fall and Winter seasons, it’s important to consider how we can enhance our natural proportions and create a harmonious look. Today, I want to share some tricks and strategies that can help you achieve balance in your outfit choices.

For those with an apple-shaped body, where the midsection is the widest part, it’s all about drawing attention away from the waistline and creating a balanced silhouette. Opt for A-line or empire waist dresses and tops that flow away from the midsection, creating a more defined waistline. Layering with structured jackets or cardigans can also help create a balanced look by adding volume to the lower half of the body.

If you have a pear-shaped body, where the hips and thighs are wider than the upper body, the goal is to balance out the proportions by adding volume and interest to the upper body. Choose tops with embellishments, patterns, or statement sleeves to draw attention upward. Pair them with darker-colored bottoms to create a slimming effect. For the Fall and Winter seasons, you can experiment with chunky knit sweaters or layered tops to add volume and create a balanced look.

For those with an hourglass figure, where the bust and hips are well-balanced with a defined waist, the focus is on accentuating the curves and maintaining balance. Opt for fitted or tailored clothing that highlights your waistline. Wrap dresses, belted coats, and high-waisted bottoms are great options to enhance your natural shape. In the Fall and Winter seasons, you can play with layering by adding structured blazers or coats to maintain that balanced hourglass silhouette.

If you have a rectangular body shape, where the bust, waist, and hips are relatively similar in width, the goal is to create curves and add definition. Look for clothing that cinches at the waist to create the illusion of curves. Peplum tops, belted dresses, and high-waisted bottoms can help add volume and create a more defined waistline. In the Fall and Winter seasons, you can experiment with layering by adding chunky knits or oversized coats to create dimension and shape.

Remember, these are just general guidelines, and the most important thing is to feel comfortable and confident in what you’re wearing. Embrace your unique body shape and experiment with different styles and silhouettes to find what works best for you. Fashion is all about self-expression, so have fun and let your personal style shine!

Accessories play a significant role in fashion. How can women use accessories to enhance and flatter their looks, especially during the colder seasons? Any specific accessory trends you’d recommend for Fall and Winter?

Elevating your Fall and Winter looks with

accessories are indeed a game-changer when it comes to enhancing and elevating your overall look, especially during the colder seasons. They not only add a touch of style but also provide functionality and warmth. I want to share some tips on how women can use accessories to enhance their looks and some specific accessory trends for the Fall and Winter seasons.

Scarves: Scarves are a versatile accessory that can instantly elevate any outfit. They not only keep you warm but also add a pop of color, texture, and dimension to your look. For Fall and Winter, opt for chunky knit scarves, oversized blanket scarves, or patterned silk scarves. You can drape them around your neck, tie them in a knot, or even wear them as a shawl for added warmth and style.

Hats: Hats are not only a stylish accessory but also a practical one during the colder seasons. They keep your head warm and add a touch of sophistication to your outfit. Fedora hats, wide-brimmed hats, and beanies are all great options to consider. Choose a hat that complements your face shape and experiment with different materials and textures to add interest to your look.

Gloves: Gloves are not only a necessity to keep your hands warm but also a stylish accessory that can enhance your overall look. Opt for leather gloves, knitted gloves, or even fingerless gloves for a trendy touch. Consider gloves with embellishments, patterns, or unique details to add a statement to your outfit.

Boots: Boots are a must-have accessory for Fall and Winter, and they can instantly elevate your look while keeping your feet warm and protected. Knee-high boots, ankle boots, and combat boots are all popular choices. Opt for boots in rich, warm colors like brown, burgundy, or black to complement your Fall and Winter wardrobe. Don’t forget to experiment with different textures like suede or leather for added style.

Statement Jewelry: Jewelry is a fantastic way to add a personal touch and elevate your overall look. For Fall and Winter, consider statement earrings, layered necklaces, or chunky bracelets. Opt for jewelry in warm tones like gold, bronze, or deep jewel tones to complement the season. Don’t be afraid to mix and match different pieces to create a unique and eye-catching look.

Remember, accessories are meant to enhance your personal style and add a touch of flair to your outfits. Feel free to experiment with different trends and styles, but always stay true to your own taste and preferences. Let your accessories be a reflection of your personality and let them elevate your Fall and Winter looks to new heights!

What are some common fashion mistakes or styles that individuals should avoid, particularly during the Fall and Winter seasons?

Avoiding common fashion mistakes during Fall and Winter fashion is all about personal expression and experimentation, there are a few common mistakes that individuals should try to avoid during the Fall and Winter seasons. These tips will help you stay stylish and confident throughout the colder months. Let’s dive in!

1 Over-layering: Layering is a great way to stay warm and stylish, but it’s important not to overdo it. Avoid piling on too many bulky layers, as it can make you look bulky and shapeless. Instead, focus on strategic layering with lighter pieces and textures that complement each other. This will create a more polished and put-together look.

2 Wearing oversized everything: While oversized clothing can be trendy and comfortable, it’s important to find the right balance. Wearing oversized everything from top to bottom can make you look frumpy and shapeless. Instead, try pairing one oversized piece with something more fitted to create a balanced silhouette. For example, pair an oversized sweater with skinny jeans or a fitted coat with wide-leg pants.

3 Neglecting proper footwear: Your choice of footwear can make or break your Fall and Winter outfits. Avoid wearing inappropriate footwear that doesn’t provide enough warmth or protection. Open-toe shoes or flimsy sneakers may not be suitable for colder weather. Instead, opt for boots, booties, or closed-toe shoes that are both stylish and functional. Don’t forget to consider the weather conditions and choose appropriate footwear accordingly.

4 Ignoring the importance of outerwear: Outerwear is a crucial part of Fall and Winter fashion, so don’t overlook its impact on your overall look. Avoid wearing ill-fitting or outdated coats that don’t flatter your figure. Instead, invest in a well-fitted and stylish coat or jacket that complements your personal style. Consider the length, color, and silhouette that suits you best.

5 Neglecting accessories: Accessories are the finishing touch to any outfit, and they shouldn’t be overlooked during the Fall and Winter seasons. Avoid neglecting accessories like scarves, hats, gloves, and jewelry. These pieces not only add style but also provide warmth and personality to your look. Experiment with different accessories to elevate your outfits and make a statement.

Remember, these tips are meant to guide you, but fashion is ultimately about expressing your unique style and personality. Feel free to experiment and find what works best for you. Embrace the Fall and Winter seasons with confidence and style!

As a mindset coach, how do you see the connection between self-confidence and personal style? How does helping individuals embrace their personal fashion identity contribute to building overall confidence?

Fashion is not just about following trends or wearing the latest styles; it’s a unique expression of who we are as individuals. When we embrace our personal fashion identity, we unlock a world of self-discovery and empowerment. Here’s how it helps us build confidence:

1 Self-Expression: Our personal style allows us to communicate our personality, values, and interests without saying a word. By dressing in a way that resonates with our true selves, we send a powerful message to the world about who we are and what we stand for. This authenticity boosts our confidence and helps us feel comfortable in our own skin.

2 Celebrating Uniqueness: Each one of us is beautifully unique, and our fashion choices can celebrate that individuality. By embracing our personal fashion identity, we break free from societal norms and embrace our quirks, preferences, and personal tastes. This celebration of uniqueness fosters self-acceptance and encourages others to do the same, creating a more inclusive and confident community.

3 Empowerment and Ownership: When we take control of our personal style, we gain a sense of empowerment and ownership over our appearance. We become the architects of our own fashion journey, selecting pieces that make us feel amazing and confident. This empowerment extends beyond our wardrobe and seeps into other aspects of our lives, boosting our overall self-esteem.

4 Experimentation and Growth: Embracing our personal fashion identity encourages us to step out of our comfort zones and try new things. It opens doors to experimentation, allowing us to explore different styles, colors, and patterns. Through this process, we discover what truly resonates with us, leading to personal growth and an increased sense of confidence in our choices.

5 Positive Body Image: Fashion has the incredible ability to help us embrace and love our bodies. By dressing in a way that makes us feel good, we shift our focus from perceived flaws to highlighting our best features. This shift in perspective promotes a positive body image, fostering self-love and confidence.

So, what does it mean to be a Pretty Woman Who Hustles? It’s about embracing your femininity, intelligence, and strength, all while pursuing your dreams fearlessly. It’s about being a force to be reckoned with, unapologetically chasing success in every aspect of life.

A Pretty Woman Who Hustles is not confined to any specific profession or industry. She can be a CEO, an artist, a scientist, an entrepreneur, or anything she sets her mind to. She’s a trailblazer, paving the way for future generations of women to follow their passions and achieve greatness.

But let’s be clear: being a Pretty Woman Who Hustles is not just about external appearances. It’s about embracing her flaws, learning from failures, and rising stronger each time.

I challenge you to redefine the concept of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles. Let’s celebrate the women who are breaking barriers, shattering stereotypes, and proving that beauty and ambition go hand in hand. Let’s inspire and empower each other to embrace our inner hustlers and conquer the world!

The Brave Way: A Journey of Resilience, Prosperity, and Empowerment with Tierra Womack

US-based Tierra Womack MBA is a multiple best- selling author, host of the Wealthy Woman by Design Show, speaker & founder of The Brave Way. Tierra is a mompreneur of 18 years whose businesses have
generated over 7-figures. As an award-winning Human Design based Manifestation Mentor & Wealth Activator, Tierra helps women heal money trauma, shift their money sabotaging habits, and aligning their life with their purpose through masterclasses, books, retreats & workshops so they can live an orgasmic life.
Being a successful entrepreneur who was once unfulfilled and in a narcissistic abusive relationship at the height of her business, Tierra understands how important the right money mindset is, especially for those that are just jumping into the journey of rediscovering & rebuilding themselves. Tierra is passionate about helping women become anti-hustle millionaires because she knows how challenging & exhausting entrepreneurship can be from her own experiences as a successful businesswoman, and from the hundreds of female entrepreneurs she connects with.

We had the opportunity of sitting down with Tierra Womack MBA to discuss entrepreneurship, becoming and author and so much more:

You’ve had remarkable success as a mompreneur, author, speaker, and founder of The Brave Way. Could you share a bit about your journey?

What a journey it has been! I’ve been an entrepreneur for almost 20 years in various industries but I stumbled, or really fell into, the coaching industry after leaving my second, long-term, narcissistic abusive relationship and really just wanting to guide women to heal their self-worth and wealth after leaving similar relationships. In fact, around the time I started The Brave Way, I would share my story, and friends or friends of friends would want to speak with me further about their own path and that’s how the coaching unofficially began. Once I jumped in 100%, that’s when the speaking opportunities and books, etc. started to come into the picture.

What inspired you to become a Manifestation Mentor and Wealth Activator?

As The Brave Way took form from coaching women on their self-worth and wealth, I had women reaching out to me who hadn’t been in a relationship with a narcissist or were happily married, and they wanted to talk money so the business evolved into more activation conversations for women to match the frequency of money. It was a really natural evolution and talking money completely lights up my sacral within my human design so I can have those conversations all day! I also saw a void in the market where people were talking about manifestation but were giving fluff and not really telling the “how” to make prosperity your new normal or how to get out of feast and famine cycles as a successful entrepreneur so I wanted to make sure I communicated those aspects as well.

As an award-winning Human Design based Manifestation Mentor, how does Human Design play a role in helping women heal money trauma and align their lives with their purpose?

It’s funny because when human design first came on my radar a few years ago, I was not into it. It just felt very removed and kind of like a mean girls club, but it kept coming across my lap so one day I decided to dive into it, and it completely changed my life from the perspective that the premise of human design is that the mind will allow us lie to ourselves about our money stories, about our limiting beliefs which is called conditioning in human design, but our bodies won’t lie and our soul always knows the path of least resistance for us to fulfill our purpose so I’ve been able to use this tool for myself and for my clients to understand how to truly live in orgasmic life while building a business that magnetizes people to me versus having to be put in someone else’s box within their success system that leaves me burnt out or feeling unfulfilled. For instance, my energy type in human design is that of a generator which means that when I am lit up about what I am doing in my business and life, then I am on the path of least resistance and in money flow, but as a generator, once I say yes to something, I have to see it through so if I don’t listen to my authority making sure I’m lit up by the things that I’m doing in my marketing for instance, then that will lead me to burn out and frustration. Another energy type, projectors are only here to work 2 to 4 hours per day, or they will burn out but my projector clients are usually the busiest in the room because they’ve been raised to be a generator and keep going. Projectors are here to show the world that you don’t need to work in your business 8 to 12 hours a day in order for it to be very successful. So it’s all about honoring your unique soul blueprint so that you can live a life of flow and ease.

Your businesses have generated over 7-figures. What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs, especially women, who are just starting their journey into business and wealth creation?

Come to me for human design reading! The one thing I wish I did was build in the foundation of my human design into my business, so that I could have truly trusted myself along this journey versus being stuck in a box of what others were telling me was the key to success. Each of us has our own individual road map to prosperity and human design can go really deep into your marketing to attract what’s called your fractal or your dream clients, and again just having that element of self-leadership and trust in yourself and trust in your soul, knowing the absolute best way for you to see the most success in your business with the most ease because that’s really what it’s all about. When I first hit seven figures, I was only focused on the money and didn’t even know to contemplate that I could do something that lit me up and made me a lot of money while impacting others in a beautiful way. So for my ladies just starting out, know that that is true for you and is a part of your life purpose to live a life of ease so that you can inspire others to know that it’s possible for them as well.

In your work, you focus on helping women shift money-sabotaging habits. Could you give us some insights into common money-sabotaging habits and how individuals can overcome them to achieve financial success?

For women, the deepest feminine wound is disappointment, and so once my clients have experienced some type of money trauma, which we all have, they equate that trauma to this feeling of being disappointed which ultimately can sabotage money overflow in their lives because they’re not open to receive, and they don’t even know that! Many of my clients come to me wanting more money in their life. They want more success in their business, but they find ways to sabotage their success, making a lot of money and then spending it all so that they get back to the feast and famine cycles they are used to for instance.

You mention aligning life with purpose through masterclasses, books, retreats, and workshops. What can participants expect from these experiences, and how do they contribute to living an “orgasmic life,” as you describe it?

The foundation for all of my offerings is returning to soul guidance a.k.a. self-leadership through human design, and when you are living from a place of your strategy and authority leading you versus your mind and limiting beliefs guiding you, that’s when life and your business gets to be truly orgasmic. That’s when clients magnetize to you in ways my clients didn’t even think of, and when you are in this flow, you truly are living a life proving that prosperity is your birthright. On top of experiencing this, you also get to be around like-minded women who are tired of the same old same so I have seen many clients meet other women and turn into close associates or even business besties!

You just never know!

Your personal story includes overcoming unfulfillment and a narcissistic abusive relationship while being a successful entrepreneur. How did you navigate these challenges, and what role did developing the right money mindset play in your journey of rediscovery and rebuilding?

Well, the first thing I always say is that narcissists don’t break into poor houses, they break into mansions, so any woman that I have worked with who experienced narcissistic abuse usually exhibits such amazing qualities, not only in leadership and in the community, but just within themselves and it’s so important to realize that even when you become a shell of yourself dealing with these types of toxic relationships, you can still get back to the core essence of what truly lights you up. Something that I told myself because I always say, I am my biggest client, is that if we have to rebuild anyway, let’s do it big! That’s a motto that I lived by when I was rebuilding a new business to a little over six figures in one year after walking away from everything with nothing.

As someone passionate about helping women become “anti-hustle millionaires,” could you elaborate on what that means and why it’s a crucial mindset shift, especially in the world of entrepreneurship?

I find that so many of us women come to entrepreneurship with these dreams of success that aren’t even really ours. By that I mean, someone can give me a $30k in 30 days blueprint but if it isn’t aligned with my strategy to follow my path of least resistance for success, that experience isn’t going to feel the same for me and I more than likely will end up unfulfilled and burnt out. My mission is to show women that although yes, you may have days where you are pulling longer hours in your business, it doesn’t have to be the norm in that male-centered energy. That doesn’t mean to sit back and think that clients are going to come to you but women have been taught, especially in the black community that if you want success you have to work harder and that’s not true. If you want success you have to be in alignment and find that sweet spot between what lights you up and what fulfills your purpose. That means laser-focused on being that version of yourself every single day, knowing that paradigm of hustling at all times doesn’t have to be your reality anymore.

You host the Wealthy Woman by Design Show. Can you share a memorable moment or a powerful conversation from the show that truly defines your message and mission?

As far as one guest that stands out, I interviewed the incredible Cassie Howard, who is an eight-figure industry leader that I have watched grow her brand from a place of authenticity, and her time on the show was pretty much the same. Authentic conversation around our money stories. What I also love about the show is watching people’s world open up once they discuss how human design has impacted their business.

What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?
My definition of a pretty woman who hustles is a woman who knows that she doesn’t have to hustle. She can pick and choose those moments when she wants to grind but ultimately knows that the path she’s choosing for herself is the path of least resistance, overflow, and ease.

From Burnout to Breakthrough: Gráinne O’Malley’s Journey in Entrepreneurship

The Rebel Movement is an online membership for female entrepreneurs, led by four accomplished business mentors from around the globe. Its mission is to reconnect female entrepreneurs to their inner self-belief through a powerful community, workshops, events, and networking.

The Rebel Movement was born out of the founders’ desire to fall back in love with their businesses by reconnecting to their intuition, and calling BS on the noise of one-size-fits-all “roadmaps” to success.

Each one of the four founding women has had a different personal & business journey. They’ve had to work through their own belief systems and their industry’s imposed BS to create a life that actually feels like freedom.

After having conversations with each other about “perceived barriers”, personally being “stuck” after achieving success, and feeling like they had to sacrifice freedom vs. keeping business momentum, because they’d been told they had to do X, Y & Z… They realized they weren’t alone, and more people needed to hear this, too!

But they didn’t *just* want this movement to energetically expand the online community. They wanted to support female entrepreneurs in the online space, to craft action steps that give them the permission to do business THEIR way and actually step into living the life of their wildest dreams.

Meet Cofounder Gráinne O’Malley

Gráinne O’Malley, is a neuroscience-led business mentor from Ireland, and the visionary behind The Living Business Project. Her extensive background spans over a decade in events and marketing, complemented by a business degree and a Masters in Strategic Management. Gráinne’s journey in life took an extraordinary turn in 2019 when her twin boys were born prematurely, with one facing complications due to a brain bleed. Her unwavering commitment to supporting her son sparked a deep passion for understanding the inner workings of the brain and nervous system. It was this profound experience that led her to realize the immense power of this knowledge, not just in personal life but also in crafting businesses that allow women to truly live life on their terms.
Gráinne’s mentoring combines science with strategy, taking in communication, marketing, and sales, empowering entrepreneurs to transform how they run their businesses.

Can you share a bit about your background and journey in neuroscience-led business mentoring, and what inspired you to focus on women entrepreneurs?

Absolutely! I’m a neuroscience-led business mentor, primarily working with women building businesses in the online space. Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system), influencing everything you do—how you think, feel, and behave. Understanding why you do things makes it easier to see how to achieve the desired results in your business. Bringing neuroscience into my business strategy has changed my life and the lives of many clients.

In terms of my background, my corporate career involved working in nonprofits in fundraising and corporate events and experiential marketing. I constantly worked in fast-paced, high-pressure roles, and for much of my working life, I was very unhappy. I wasn’t even aware of this because it had become my normal. I was just focused on doing what I thought was necessary for ‘success.’

In 2015, I was in the second year of a night-time Master’s degree in Strategic Management. I was working in a toxic environment from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and then attending college from 6 pm to 10 pm three nights a week. Feeling lost and burnt-out, I hit a breaking point. I quit my job, sold my car, and booked a three-month trip to Central America. It was terrifying and exhilarating.

Upon my return, I heeded the long-felt call to start my own business. In 2016, I began an events business, growing it into a six-figure business with a team, a lease on a large Dublin City Centre venue, national media features, and awards. However, despite its outward success, I fell back into old habits, experiencing stress, overwork, and anxiety.

In January 2019, my twin boys were born prematurely, leading to a long stay in the NICU. My son was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, introducing me to neuroscience. Many events in the last couple of years have opened my eyes to the power of the brain and the nervous system. It’s possible to change the way our brains work to support us in living the life we want.

When the pandemic hit and my events business halted, I reflected on what I truly wanted. I started working on creating a movement to support female entrepreneurs in building businesses that offer true freedom, not just external success. I now support women in creating businesses aligned with their values, empowering them to live life on their terms.

Your specialty is being a “Transformation Catalyst.” Could you explain how nervous system regulation and intentional action work together to facilitate personal growth and achieve seemingly impossible goals?

I regularly tell my clients that nervous system regulation isn’t about staying calm all the time but about creating more capacity and resilience. This allows you to set bigger, more challenging goals and take aligned action to achieve them. The transformative power lies in changing your brain’s structure, reinforcing neural pathways associated with taking action. It means that future challenging goals feel less daunting, fostering personal growth and the achievement of seemingly impossible goals. Nervous system regulation becomes a catalyst for transformation, guiding women through a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

How does neuroscience play a role in shaping business strategy? Can you provide some examples of how brain behaviors impact decision-making and contribute to significant business growth?

Neuroscience is a game-changer in shaping business strategy. One example is understanding cognitive biases, mental shortcuts influencing decision-making. The confirmation bias, favoring information confirming preexisting beliefs, can be utilized in marketing to create stronger connections with customers.

Emotions also impact decision-making. Creating positive emotional experiences for customers fosters brand loyalty, contributing to long-term business growth. Understanding tools from neuroscience helps entrepreneurs create strategies resonating with customers on a deeper level, beyond surface-level decision-making, contributing to long-term success.

In your experience, what are the most common challenges women entrepreneurs face, and how can nervous system regulation be a solution to overcoming these challenges?

Women entrepreneurs face challenges shaped by systemic issues. Limited funding opportunities due to gender bias and the struggle to balance work and family pressure them. Nervous system regulation becomes a powerful tool against these barriers, boosting resilience and confidence. It acts as a transformative force, helping women navigate biases and handle the stress of entrepreneurship, breaking down systemic barriers for a more inclusive entrepreneurial landscape.

Can you talk to us about your involvement in The Rebel Movement?

As a co-founder of The Rebel Movement, I’m part of a community led by accomplished business mentors with a global reach. Our mission is to reconnect female entrepreneurs with their inner self-belief through events, networking, and transformative retreats. The movement aims to cut through the noise of traditional roadmaps to success, empowering women to take action steps towards creating the life they truly want.

Driven by conversations about barriers, feeling stuck after success, and sacrificing freedom for business momentum, The Rebel Movement empowers women to do business their way. It’s not just a community but a movement supporting individuals in crafting paths aligned with their unique vision and values.

What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?

Challenging traditional beauty standards and rejecting toxic hustle cultures are at the core of my definition. Success shouldn’t require conforming to external expectations but finding alignment, embracing authenticity, and incorporating nervous system regulation. The concept of feeling “pretty” should be deeply personal, unique, and not cultivated to meet external expectations. Hustling means leaning into actions that ignite passion, guiding a path aligned with life goals, and supporting business journeys sustainably. It’s time for a paradigm shift, challenging norms for female entrepreneurs rooted in patriarchal structures, unleashing the full force of female entrepreneurship to reshape the global landscape.
