Redemption, Finding Self, and New Beginnings – The independent film, Finding Tony showcases the story of Tony Greene who faces unbelievable loss, internal struggle, and an unconventional family.

On May 9th, 2024, the independent film, “Finding Tony”, directed by Award-Winning Director Raven Magwood Goodson and executively produced by NBA Player Anthony Davis, premiered at the TCL Chinese Theaters in Los Angeles, California. The red carpet affair consisted of the cast, and crew including Stephen Bishop, Raquel Justice, Brooke Sill, Executive Producer Billy Goodson, Raven Magwood Goodson, and VIP guests David Justice, Hope Jordan, Bianca Bethune, Isabelle Aloyman, and many others.

Over 320 attendees were able to get a sneak peek of Finding Tony before its midnight release. During the screening, there were tears, laughs, and a plethora of wow moments. Directly after guests viewed the film, there was a Q&A hosted by TV Personality Gwendolyn Osborne-Smith where Stephen Bishop, Raquel Justice, and Raven Magwood Goodson dug deep into mental health awareness, supporting female sports and women in sports, and their goals with making Finding Tony a film that will inspire and encourage viewers

Stephen Bishop discussed how he was able to deliver a stellar performance in his first lead role. He spoke about how this role allowed him to face the personal grief in his life which provided him with insight to connect with his role as Tony Greene.

Raquel Justice expressed her love for acting and how she took her role seriously. She trained daily to ensure she was able to bring her role to life as a basketball player.

Finding Tony officially released at midnight on May 10th and is available to view on www.findingtonyfilm.com.
