
Stephanie Polite is the owner of Topline Royalty Boutique which caters to women of all shapes and sizes. She stated that it has always been a passion of hers to become either an entrepreneur or a nurse. After working in the healthcare field as a medical assistant for nearly a decade, she decided to pursue her passion of becoming an entrepreneur. She was inspired to open a women’s fashion boutique because she faced obstacles finding trendy apparel to fit her shape due to her being a tall plus size women. She didn’t like having to be put in a small box when shopping and wanted to show that tall and plus size women are fashion icons and trend setters as well.

What does success look like to you?
Success means achieving my goals so that I can live the happy life I always wanted and dream of.
What kind of impact do you want to have on the world?
I want to be recognized for helping a population of women feel confident with themselves by opening doors and breaking barriers when it comes to tall and plus size women shopping for trendy styles.

I have a book on Amazon called Topline Royalty Boutique Guide which helps women with the necessary steps for opening up a boutique.
What is the name of your business? What type of business is it?
Topline Royalty Boutique is a women’s fashion boutique that caters to women of all shapes and sizes. We offer apparel for both small and plus size women. We also offer fashion jewelry, stylish handbags, sunglasses and etc.
What made you choose this type of business?
The lack of interest from society putting tall plus size women in a small box when it came to shopping. The Fashion industry as well as the world wasn’t ready to see plus size women dress a certain way.
What hurdles did you personally face in getting ready to open your business and how did you overcome them?
Topline Royalty Boutique open right in the niche of when the pandemic hit last year. This affected my business because at the time we wasn’t aware of what effects and how long the pandemic would stay in affect. Due to the longevity and severity of the pandemic a lot of people lost their employment and lives. This put my business at a standstill because people weren’t looking to purchase apparel and accessories because it was survival mode for most people. I didn’t let the pandemic stop my plans for my business and I kept working because I know I will succeed at the end.

My company caters to women of all shapes and sizes.

Why did you choose entrepreneurship?
This has always been a passion of mine. I’m driven with the need to succeed and control my own destiny. I want to change how the fashion industry have a lack of interest in providing trendy clothing for tall plus-size women.
What would you say is your most driving motivation to keep doing what you to do?
My most driving motivation is my ten year old son. Everyday I wake up and look at my son I think about his future and it pushes me to work harder. I want to leave a legacy and good future for him.
If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Be consistent and never give up. You must motivate yourself and and believe in yourself.
