Dee is the Author of Collect the Cash: The Sale is not Complete until the Money is In the Bank! Dee has been featured in Forbes, Yahoo Finance, VIP Global, and Black Enterprise Magazines.

At what moment did you realize you had a passion for educating small businesses on financial literacy?

I realized my passion for educating small business owners two years ago when I shared my story on a radio interview and was asked to write about it in a book anthology called Entrepreneurial Elevation

What are the main two issues you find amongst small businesses regarding finances?

The two key issues I find among small business owners are that they lack systems to track sales and payments. Many also don’t have a business checking account to receive payments

What message do you hope small businesses take away from your platform?

The message for small business owners is to learn the 3 Keys to Collect the Cash

Problem Solving/Customer Service/Gratitude. People have choices where they spend their time and dollars. Make sure you provide the best customer experience from sale to payment received

In your book Collect the Cash: The Sale is not complete until the money is in the bank, what big idea are you hoping small businesses understand?

That leaving money on the table is not good for business, set up tracking systems and get good with problem-solving.

What is next for your business?

Speaking and Consulting with Companies that have Accounts Receivables issues and want to improve their process

They could also use AI to analyze a company’s network traffic and identify vulnerabilities that could be exploited to gain access to sensitive data.
