Who is Victoria G. in three words?
I always like to say I am an artsy, musical, binge-watcher (laughs).
What inspired your start in entrepreneurship and sharing stories?
I have been in love with the entertainment industry for as long as I can remember. I am still hunting for jobs with studios, but I felt having my own little studio would assist in me getting started while still going to school. I love how having my own company has allowed me to share my artwork with people, while still maintaining control. As for sharing stories, I grew up watching, listening to, and reading interviews of some of my favorite celebrities. I always liked how it allowed me as a fan to get to know them better beyond their work. So, when I realized I too could give this to fans, I jumped on the opportunity right away.
You have been interviewing leaders for quite some time, what has been the highlight of your journey thus far?
I feel the highlight so far has been when I became a member of the press for my first film festival. I have always watched the live streams of press junkets from film festivals, and have watched the films in selection at them. So, when I was given the opportunity to become a part of one, I couldn’t say no. My first film festival was the 2021 HollyShorts Film Festival, and since then it has opened so many doors for me. I have also been a member of the press for the 2021 San Diego International Film Festival and the 2021 Raindance Film Festival.
Where do you see your career in the next 3-5 years?
By then I would have received my Bachelor’s degree and will hopefully be working in a studio, or I will be doing freelance work under my company. I also see myself still conducting interviews with all creative types.
What message do you hope readers take away from your platform?
I hope they learn something new about these incredibly talented individuals. I personally read every interview before I publish them online, and I always love the newfound information I walk away with. I also hope it inspires them to maybe contribute to the entertainment industry as well.
What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?
I feel a Pretty Woman Who Hustles is one, who is constantly putting herself out there and looking for opportunities. I understand now with the way the world is with this pandemic it is difficult to take advantage of certain opportunities, but I definitely think social media is our best friend for networking in these times.
