What does being “Pretty and Black Owned” mean to you?
Growing up I did not see many women that looked like me excelling in a career, juggling a family, running a business and being actively involved in their community. I didn’t see many women going to graduate school or become CEO of their business. I am honored when i’m referred to as a powerful businesswoman. I am humbled when women ask if I will mentor them. Pretty and Black Owned means the epitome of excellence and elegance.
