Additionally, she sells printed shirts and accessories – perfect for anyone who wants to add a personal touch to their wardrobe.

How did your career in sewing and customization begin?

I’ve always loved fashion and decided to start my own company about 8 years ago selling fashion clothes and accessories. Fast forward: I had an idea to get into customizing clothing and learn how to sew. In November 2020, I was put into the hospital and admitted into ICU.

I remember thinking I haven’t done everything I wanted to do in life… And said if I make it through this, I’m going to do everything I always wanted to do and travel as much as possible. I was released from the hospital after a few weeks, and I remained in and out of the hospital for months…A lot of people never knew what was going on. I was 39 and, on a walker, Not being mobile much I learned how to sew, and I got better and better. I started a second company which is Fashion Junkie Club. (Customized Business)

In December 2021, I posted a Camo Jacket I customized for 50-cent DJ Ambassador DJ Kayotik, and my talent was noticed. With all that has happened, I never let that setback of being sick kill my dream…I kept going!

How would you describe your signature style?

I would describe my style as creative and statement-making.

What advice would you give to upcoming aspiring tailors?

Keep going even when you doubt yourself.

When it gets hard don’t break.

What has been the highlight of your career thus far?

It would have to be the camo jacket I created for DJ Kayotik. I put a lot of personal touches on the camo for him and also honor his son. #LLTK

What experience do you hope women walk away with when working with Fashion Junkie Club?

I hope that the experience not only uplifts them but inspires them as well.

Where do you hope to see your brand in the next 3-5 years?

All over social media as well as in magazines.

Hopefully, I can make an appearance on the runway soon and continue to inspire our youth.

What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?

A driven woman who always strives to achieve her goals and who knows what she wants.
