Francine’s story is not one of overnight success, but of intentional becoming. Raised in Kingston, Jamaica, she learned early how resilience is forged at the intersection of responsibility, ambition, and unspoken pressure. When her path led her to the frontlines of American healthcare, that same drive to excel followed her along with the silent weight of depression, anxiety, and self-doubt that so many high-achieving women carry behind polished titles and professional wins.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Francine to gain deeper insight into that journey, one marked not only by professional achievement, but by the courageous decision to confront what was happening beneath the surface. Rather than allowing those challenges to define her, Francine chose to transform them into purpose. Her lived experience became the foundation of her Whole Body Wellness philosophy, a holistic approach that recognizes healing as both personal and practical.

Through this framework, she supports professionals and women in reconnecting with purpose, reframing perceived failure as feedback, and intentionally rediscovering joy. Her work moves beyond theory, offering tangible pathways to transformation through 1:1 coaching, guided journaling, immersive retreats, and an upcoming plant-based supplement line designed to support wellness from the inside out.

That commitment to empowerment also extends far beyond the individual. As the founder of The Francine F. Forbes Foundation, Francine invests in the next generation through initiatives focused on youth empowerment, health equity, and educational access in Jamaica and beyond. With the forthcoming release of her debut book, A Woman’s Journey to Whole Body Wellness: Think, Act and Be Bold, and a series of workshops and pop-up experiences planned across the U.S. and Caribbean in 2025, her message is expanding clear, grounded, and deeply needed.

Francine is not simply talking about self-care. She is living it, leading it, and teaching others to embrace it boldly and unapologetically.

You’ve gone from Kingston, Jamaica, to the frontlines of American healthcare. How has your personal journey shaped your mission to help others heal and rediscover joy?

Growing up in Kingston, Jamaica, I witnessed both the resilience of the community and the painful gaps in access to physical, emotional, and mental health care. Later, navigating the fast-paced, high-pressure world of American healthcare gave me a unique dual lens.

My journey across cultures, identities, and personal healing shaped my mission to create safe, judgment-free spaces where healing isn’t just clinical, but also cultural, emotional, spiritual, and generational.

I’ve seen how deeply trauma, silence, and burnout affect our communities. That’s why I focus on Whole Body Wellness not just helping people survive, but assisting them in how to feel again, live boldly, and rediscover their joy from the inside out.

You’ve spoken openly about overcoming depression, anxiety, and self-doubt. What was the turning point that inspired you to transform your pain into purpose?

The turning point came when I realized no one was coming to save me and with 30 fast approaching, I felt like I was running out of time to become the woman I envisioned.

In the midst of tears, depression, and overwhelming doubt, I had a choice: stay stuck in survival mode, or define my own version of wellness. That’s when BEPURBOLD™ was born.

I stopped chasing perfection and started showing up with consistency. That’s when I created the D.C.D. Principle™—Delusion, Consistency, and Discipline and began applying it to every area of my life. With nature therapy, movement, prayer, and intentional community, I transformed my pain into purpose. Now, I help others do the same because healing is possible, even in the mess.

What does “Whole Body Wellness” mean to you, and how is it different from traditional approaches to self-care or health?

“Whole Body Wellness” goes beyond green juices and spa days. It’s about alignment of the mind, body, spirit, and intimate self. It’s about asking:

  • How’s my energy?
  • Are my boundaries intact?
  • Do I trust my body and my decisions?
  • Am I making space for joy—or just going through the motions?

Traditional wellness often emphasizes appearance—what you weigh, how you look, or what trend you’re following. But Whole Body Wellness is about how you feel and function internally and sustainably.

To me, it’s a lifelong contract with your mind, body, and soul one that requires honesty, grace, and radical self-care.

Many female creatives and high achievers struggle with burnout and perfectionism. How can your Whole Body Wellness philosophy help them find balance?

By helping them unlearn the hustle myth. Burnout often comes from believing we have to earn rest or prove our worth.

My Whole Body Wellness philosophy teaches women to honor their limits without guilt, to move with intention instead of urgency, and to realign their routines with their values not society’s expectations.

Balance isn’t about doing less it’s about doing what actually supports your nervous system, energy, and evolution because success means nothing if it costs you your peace.

You often speak about reframing failure. How can women in creative fields turn setbacks into moments of empowerment and growth?

Reframing failure is a superpower. I encourage women to view failure not as proof of inadequacy—but as feedback and fuel. Ask:

  • What didn’t work?
  • What did this teach me?
  • How can I pivot with more clarity and strength?

Every bold woman I know has a story filled with detours, delays, and doubts including me. But creative women aren’t built to play it safe. We’re meant to fall, reflect, and rise each time stronger, wiser, and more unapologetic.

Your debut book, A Woman’s Journey to Whole Body Wellness: Think, Act and Be Bold is set to release soon. What message do you hope women take away from it?

My book, BEPURBOLD™: A Woman’s Journey to Whole Body Wellness: Think, Act and Be Bold, is a powerful invitation to every woman who’s ever felt disconnected from herself.

It’s part memoir, part workbook, and part wake-up call. I share my personal journey and the raw truth behind sustainable transformation.

I want women to feel seen, validated, and equipped ready to define what wellness means to them and start living that truth, boldly and unapologetically.

You’re expanding into a plant-based supplement line: what sparked that idea, and how does it fit into your larger vision for wellness?

The idea came from personal necessity. I was burnt out, overstimulated, and tired of taking random supplements that didn’t align with my values or my needs. So I created what I couldn’t find—plant-based, science-backed supplements designed to support Whole Body Wellness.

These products are designed to boost energy, clarity, mood, and vitality because healing starts from the inside out.

Before the end of 2025, I’m also launching a line of aromatherapy roll-ons for sleep, energy/focus, and anxiety relief making wellness multi-sensory, culturally inclusive, and easy to integrate into real life.

This is more than a product line. It’s a lifestyle extension of everything BEPURBOLD™ stands for.

If you could give one piece of advice to women chasing their purpose while managing self-doubt, what would it be?

Be delusional about your dreams.
You don’t need permission to begin what you need is discipline to continue, especially when no one’s clapping, and the capital isn’t flowing.

Self-doubt is real but don’t let it drive the car. Keep going. Keep showing up. Your future self is watching you and she’s depending on your boldness today.
