Pretty Women Who Hustles: Lima Roe

Hailing from St. Croix (US Virgin Islands) Rapper Lima Roe is bringing her unique style, work ethic and stage presence to the hip hop culture by empowering other female artists and to also introduce the world to the talents that St. Croix has the offer.

Lima Roe shares her reasons why she is a Pretty Woman Who Hustles:

– Hustlers understand that “there is no I in team”, they also understand the importance of networking. I am no better than the next indie artist but my successes can be attributed to the fact that I am only as successful as the people I chose to surround myself with. I am a firm believer that competition will catch and pass you the minute you become idle, because of this I am constantly seeking new opportunities and partnerships that align with my goals.

– My ability to be laser focused is my greatest quality. I eat, sleep and breathe music; therefore I always accomplish what I set out to get done.

– I dream ridiculously big, nothing feels unattainable to me! There is no limit on what I envision for myself because I am willing to put in the hard work that is necessary to bring that dream to reality.

About Lima Roe:

Coming from humble beginnings in St. Croix (US Virgin Islands) an island rich in cultural diversity, rapper Lima Roe has a fascinating history – much like her celebrated birth place. Lima’s love of music began at 8 years old, where her super star energy and on-stage presence was unmatched at such a young age. Over the years, Lima has been influenced by the unique style, work ethic and stage presence of ground-breaking female artists such as Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj and Big Latto. Inspired, Lima decided to expand her passion for music and take her career aspirations to the United States. By traveling to Atlanta, Georgia she was able to solidify industry relationships, network and work with a number of talented producers and engineers who successfully took her sound to new heights. To start 2022 off with a bang, Lima dropped “Hush” in January, a hit single that has already begun catapulting her career as the talented artist she is, with major media coverage and her popularity growing quickly. Her second track “Big Roe” is now available on all streaming platforms, reaching over 20K views in the first day, with the single expected to hit millions. With the current state of the hip hop culture empowering more female artists like Lima, industry executives, producers and her fans are watching closely and ultimately anticipating the success of this young artist.
