An Elevated Wine Experience with Tastee Wines: Meet The CEO Notable Atlanta Media Personality and Certified Dating Coach T. Marie

T Marie’s interest in beauty and media began at a young age. She grew up in the small town of Hickman, Kentucky, with a strong desire to entertain running through her veins. She quickly realized that her vivacious personality and fierce work ethic were destined for a bigger city, so she packed up her two-year-old daughter and relocated to Atlanta to further her career as a master stylist. Divorce stripped her of her mental, spiritual, and financial resources. She was able to transform her life experiences into teachable moments for others and draw audiences from all over the world thanks to her strength and faith in God.

Thus, an author, dating coach, and owner of her own wine company, TasteTEE Wines, knows that the simplest things in life bring the most joy. TasteTEE recognizes that wine is more than just a beverage. It has also become a bond that unites people together, a self-confidence booster, and a relaxing remedy.
TASTETEE Wines offers an extravagant tasting experience that is sure to please your palate in every way.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with T’Marie to discuss her journey into the entertainment industry and what’s next for career.

Who is T’Marie in four words?
Bold. Determined. Tried. True.

When exactly did you discover your passion for entertainment and talk?
When I was four years old, I gave my first Easter Speech!! LOL!! I was just supposed to go up in front of the church and say “Happy Easter, Everybody,” like every young child at Easter in the Baptist Church. Once I did, I received this roaring round of applause and a standing ovation! After that, I wouldn’t even leave the front of the mic. I went on to say, “Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Halloween…” basically naming every Holiday I could think of. I just remember my mom saying someone had to come and get me from up there, LOL!! And there a star was born!! I love to sing, talk, and dance, and I think it brings happiness to people’s lives. I still feel the exact same way today.

How did you get your infamous title, “Queen of Talk”?
I started my radio show in 2015 called “It’s TMarie” Radio Show and 1100 AM. I was known for having conversations with celebrities, influencers, and people in the community. I’ve always had a way of getting conversations out of people that I normally would not have publicly and getting the deets that were not common knowledge to people’s stories. My friends would say, “You get people to talk about stuff they had no intention of talking about… you the Queen of that talk sh*t…” You can bleep that if you need to LOL. That’s how I became the Queen of Talk. I love to talk, and I can get people to talk about whatever.

You are a natural conversationalist, and that is evident in your show.

Can you tell us what we can expect when listening to your show?
Great conversation and life-applicable information. You’re going to be Empowered. You’re going to be Encouraged. And you’re going to be Entertained!! It is my goal that I leave you with something you can use… even if it’s a laugh. We all know that Laughter is good for the soul. You have a story of being an overcomer time and time again, which pours into your passion for women.

Can you share a little about your story?
OOOOO WEEEE where do I begin!! I’ve gone through challenges that would have broken most people down. Divorce, domestic violence, financial depletion, sleeping on people’s couch, losing my fiance’. But I’ve also created a notable brand. I was one of the first to have a popular internet radio show that was also syndicated across five platforms in 5 cities. I owned my own salon. I created a wine line (TasteTEE Wines). I created a nonprofit (Blessed Tresses). This catered to young girls and women’s empowerment and self-esteem development through hair care, hair education, provision of products and services to those who could not afford them, as well as clothes, shoes, and back-to-school supplies. I created a dating platform (No More Boyfriend) which was birth from a journal I wrote to myself about what I could have done differently about a relationship that did not lead to marriage. That journal led to my first book, also titled “No More Boyfriends”. Every challenge I have experienced led me to develop something to help someone else. So I never speak of those experiences as “tragedies” or refer to them in a negative way. These “challenges” were opportunities to develop me to be of service in a way God needed me to be. He has blessed me in so many ways. And I am who I am because God is who He promised he would be to me… A Coverer. A Provider. A Protector. My Father. My GOD!

What can your supporters expect from T. Marie next?
I’m so excited about two new projects!!

First, is my new podcast called The RESET. The RESET addresses beginning dating again in an environment that SEEMS to be impossible to find great partnerships. My goal is to address the hurdles of dating if you are reentering the dating game for whatever reasons. Break-ups, divorce, financial setbacks, and even self-destructive behavior. I want people to know that despite how it may make it seem, dating great is not only possible but necessary.

Then, I have a book that will be released in early fall called “Not Just a piece of Paper”. It’s a love story that addresses the loss of a partner and the disregard of the position of “fiancé. It’s a reminder that marriage is the ultimate covering you can give your partner. I’m excited about this book.

What advice do you have for the next generation of women in media?
Consistency!!! Keep going on every platform that makes sense. Networking. Grow relationships with anyone in the media that you know. That includes bloggers, personalities, and PR Reps. This will help you access doors and events that you may not have privy to. Oftentimes it’s not what you know but WHO you know, and oftentimes relationships of trump talent.

What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?
A Pretty Girl Who Hustles is a woman who makes a way out of no way and has not let anything stop her from going after the desires of her heart. Her very PRESENCE is inspiring.
