Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what products you sell?
My name is Jessica Delareese Tucker, and I am a 24-year-old entrepreneur. I make organic hair, skin, and oral treatments.
What inspired you to start your own business as a single mom?
Wanting to live a healthier lifestyle for myself has inspired me to help others through the products I make.
How do you balance the demands of running a business with the responsibilities of parenting?
I try to maximize my time by keeping up with routines and multitasking.
What challenges have you faced as a single mom in the business world, and how have you overcome them?
Being a mother in the business industry takes a lot of courage and patience. One of the challenges I’ve had over the years is marketing my products while maintaining my lifestyle as a mother. Also, selling products as a young woman can be challenging, but I believe as I grow and develop, so will the success of my business.
How do you manage your time effectively to ensure both your business and family needs are met?
I try to stick with a routine while prioritizing family matters so that it is taken care of, giving me time to commit to my business. My work allows me to be a stay-at-home mother who I love and help others. I enjoy being busy and staying on top of my work as a mother and businesswoman.
Can you share some tips or strategies you have used to promote your products and attract customers?

What qualities do you believe have contributed to your success as a single mom entrepreneur?
Some of the qualities that have contributed to my success are being patient and showing enthusiasm towards my work. I love the idea that my children will benefit from my work.

I have some friends and family that support and inspire me to keep moving forward.
How do you stay motivated during tough times in both your personal and professional life?
I keep myself motivated by consistently learning while keeping myself healthy and praying to my creator.
What advice would you give to other single moms who are thinking about starting their own business?The advice I would give is to not be afraid to invest in yourself because a little effort goes a long way.

I believe that a pretty woman who hustles doesn’t just mean a physical image. I believe if you are good on the inside, it will show on the outside, and that’s when the beauty comes.
