Tell us about your brand, Generation of Excellence Trendsetters?
Trendsetters initially started by offering prenatal care and child care coordination to mothers considered high-risk during and after pregnancy. However, after realizing that it wasn’t sufficient to just assist moms and babies, we expanded our services to support the entire household. Our services are delivered through case management, where we assess our clients’ needs and barriers related to their well-being.
What inspired you to start in healthcare, specifically prenatal care?
From the outset, I was inspired to provide these services because there was a clear need, and I’ve always been passionate about helping others. People have frequently turned to me for assistance because of my resourcefulness. Once I recognized this purpose and passion, it felt like a natural fit for me to serve in this capacity.
If you could use three words to describe your platform, what would they be, and why?
- Rewarding: Witnessing others succeed as a result of my help is priceless.
- Humble: I have the best assignment on earth, and it doesn’t feel like work to me.
- Longevity: I have the opportunity to change lives for generations to come.
How did you personally prepare for the success your company has achieved?
I personally prepared by using my own journey as a tool for reflection—a process I encourage everyone who comes into contact with me to undertake. When I became a teenage mother, I often felt relegated to a statistic, but I’m proud that I defied the odds!
Tell us about your podcast.
My podcast focuses on relatability, transparency, and life lessons. My story has helped others strive to be better and overcome trauma, and the fact that I can speak from my heart to inspire, uplift, and encourage others is a blessing! My mom always told me that what I go through isn’t just for me—it’s to help someone else.
You also own a boutique, can you tell us about “Tyreesia’s Boutique”?
My boutique is named Tyresia’s Boutique Too, in homage to my mom’s legacy. My vision was to use fashion to raise awareness about life’s obstacles in hopes of helping others find their confidence and self-worth. I’m deeply passionate about assisting and supporting women in feeling empowered through the clothing they wear, boosting their confidence and self-esteem.
What’s next for you in entrepreneurship?
I’m looking forward to teaching my children how to manage my empires and ensure the legacy continues. I also want to coach and mentor others to be successful in entrepreneurship. Additionally, I’m excited about becoming known as one of the best Empowerment Speakers in the world.
What is your definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles?
My definition of a Pretty Woman Who Hustles is a woman who exudes confidence in her walk, talk, character, and how she treats people. She’s a woman who recognizes and owns her worth while passionately pursuing her dreams and making a living while fully enjoying life!
