Audree Nack, an afro-Italian girl based in Manchester, UK.
As a published author, her favorite topics are most controversial as she likes to spread awareness without sugar-coating the daily battles faced on the daily by her people, the black community, by LGBTQ+, survivors, and people struggling with ED.
PWH: Describe yourself in three words.
AN: Wholehearted, authentic, and stubborn.
PWH: What sparked your interest and love for writing?
AN: I started writing quite early, as a form of escapism and entertaining for my own self.
PWH: Describe your writing style.
AN: Francesca Ferrando, Lara Cardella, informal, my books are meant to entertain anyone, raw in the descriptions not sugarcoated with fancy writings meant to mock poetry, but touchy for the humanity of the experiences and the characters.
PWH: You have written three books, what is your common message?
AN: My books are always written for the “unseen”, people marginalized by the society for their identities or traumas. In my stories either there’s a growth either there’s a punishment, in the end. This, because I want those characters to stand up for themselves and react, fighting to win their life and happiness, back.
PWH: Do you have any upcoming work?
AN: I am actually on a break, since the release of my last book, “The End of the Summer” a month and a half ago.
PWH: Bonus: What advice would you give to an aspiring writer?
AN: Spread your wings and don’t be afraid to communicate your message and your vision to the world. That’s yours, nobody can take it away from you.
