PWH: What inspired you to start writing?

BH: I started writing as a depressed teen. Experiencing issues within my home drove me to pour my heart out on paper. Though I intended to write private journals, God had other plans and ultimately used me to minister to a larger audience through my published works.

PWH: How long have you been writing?

BH: I’ve been writing since I could pick up a pencil, but I wrote my first book at age 14, published by 16. So essentially, I’ve been a professional writer for about 17 years.

PWH: How many books have you written? Which book challenged you the most?

BH: I have published 5 titles with 2 on the horizon. My current title is giving me the most challenge as it is a nonfiction devotion based on personal experience. This will be my first nonfiction title so there’s a different level of openness and vulnerability that will be required.

PWH:  What were the key challenges you faced when writing this book?

BH: It’s a book for women who are experiencing infertility and I’m currently living this journey. The greatest challenge is the desire to have a testimony before completing the book and I have to push myself to understand that God is pulling this book out of me while I’m in the midst of the test.

PWH: What is the most surprising thing you discovered while writing your book(s)?

BH: Somehow my personal traits are always in at least one character in my books. It’s almost innate and definitely not intentional, but it does tell me and show my audience that I literally pour my heart into my work.

PWH: What advice do you have for a new upcoming writer?

BH: Know you are qualified. Most writers believe they aren’t qualified to write, even if it’s their own life’s story. Be the real is, if God gave you the story, He qualified you to write it! Don’t let your own mindset, insecurities, etc. stop you from doing so.

PWH: Where can readers find your books?

BH: All of my books and coaching services can be found on my website at www.brittneyholmesjackson.com

Include a summary of your books below:

  • Trial by Temptation (coming 2021): Pastor Nelson and First Lady Melissa Parker have been married for nearly 10 years and seem to live admirable lives. Nothing would dare to come between them….other than the church. Melissa is growing weary of how much time the church is taking away from her and Nelson’s love life. She knows she has vowed to love him through it all, even in his relentless pursuit of God’s will, but she never believed it would mean she and her children would take a backseat to all things holy. As Nelson buries himself deeper into the ministry, Melissa longs for something new. Will she allow herself to fall into temptation or will she stand trial victoriously?
  • Hannah’s Prayer: A Devotion for Women Desiring to Birth Greatness (coming 2020): Longing for a child is almost an innate desire for most women, but what happens when God’s timing isn’t your own or if God has not purposed you to hold the title of “mother?” The struggle becomes real when what we want doesn’t happen when we want, if at all. This devotional, full of the stories of “barren” women, their prayers and testimonies, as well as space for prayers and journaling, offers women, who hope to have children, insight into how to desire what God desires for us, even in the midst of an unanswered prayer.

The New Artificial Intelligence: Risk or Reward?

One of the most significant risks posed by AI is the potential for data breaches. AI systems rely on vast amounts of data to function, and if that data falls into the wrong hands, it can be used to steal sensitive information or launch targeted attacks. For example, a hacker could use AI to analyze a company’s social media accounts, email correspondence, and other publicly available information to identify potential targets for phishing attacks or other forms of social engineering. They could also use AI to analyze a company’s network traffic and identify vulnerabilities that could be exploited to gain access to sensitive data.
